How do I connect Pricemaster to my Shopify store?

Install Pricemaster from the Shopify App Store and approve the requested connection. Shopify handles the authorisation, so there are no catalogue spreadsheets to maintain and no API credentials to copy for the standard app-store flow.

What data does Pricemaster import from Shopify?

Pricemaster imports the product and variant information needed for matching and pricing, including titles, SKU, barcode or GTIN, current selling price, cost per item, stock availability and product images. Supported workflows can also use available store and sales context for analysis.

What does Pricemaster write back to Shopify?

Automated write-back is limited to the new selling price on the matching Shopify variant. Pricemaster does not change your orders, customers, stock quantities, theme, product content or listings.

Can I choose which competitors Pricemaster tracks?

Yes. After products are matched to market listings, you choose the competitors that matter for each store or range. Competitor allowances vary by Pricemaster plan.

How does Pricemaster protect margin?

Every proposed price is checked against the minimum percentage margin and minimum cash-margin floors you set. If a competitor-led rule would go below a floor, the margin guardrail takes priority.

How quickly does a new price appear in Shopify?

Pricemaster writes directly to the Shopify variant, so the change is live on the storefront as soon as Shopify accepts the update. Prices can be sent on a schedule or on demand.

Do I need a developer or CSV files?

No. The Shopify App Store installation handles the standard connection and the catalogue imports directly. Assisted onboarding is also available for matching, rules and launch checks.

Can automated price pushing be paused?

Yes. Price pushing can be paused per store at any time. While it is paused, Pricemaster can continue to monitor and calculate without writing new prices to the storefront.
